Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
|
The following announcement was made by
Principal Boscini in the What's Up Wednesday on October 17th, 2001:
- We are pleased to announced that the Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools (SACS) will be recommending Blessed Sacrament
School for initial accreditation. The review committee examined
all aspects of the school from operations, instruction and
communications to our analysis of strengths and weaknesses. Our
committee included:
 | Dr. Lillie Jones, retired Associate Superintendent, Guilford County
Schools |
 | Mrs. Georgette Schraeder, Principal, St. Leos School in
Winston-Salem |
 | Mr. Ronnie Wall, Associate Superintendent, Alamance-Burlington
Schools |
- A formal report will be sent to BSS within the next ten days that
will list commendations and recommendations. This information
will then be shared with our school community. My hope is that
all of our families will celebrate and share in this
accomplishment. It has been a collaborative effort and a goal
that was only achieved through the contributions of staff,
parishioners, students and parents.
