Introduction

Congratulations! You just have been hired as the middle school basketball coach at a new school.  Your job is to build a winning basketball team.   Good Luck Coach!

The Task

You will design a practice schedule, discipline policy, coaching philosophy and a strategy to win for your team.

Procedures

In all your work check the rubric for amount of work requested.

1-You may work individually or in groups of two or four. Your teacher will decide this before you begin.

2-As an individual or a coaching staff, you will design practice routines that will make the athletes’ successful ball handlers, passers and shooters.

3- You will decide on your discipline policies and how you are going to implement them.

4- What is your coaching philosophy? How do you plan to coach the athletes?

5- How do you plan to win your games? What is your strategy to do so?
