celebrated on the ninth month of the Muslim calendar. It celebrates when
the Koran was given to the prophet Muhammad.

The Task
The Ramadan Festival will
be held in the multi-purpose room at your school. Set up the different
stations for the students to visit and experience. Each student will have
approximately one hour and thirty minutes to complete all of the stations.

The Process
To accomplish each task,
you will design stations. The stations will include:
 | Find recipes: The
student will need to find several different recipes that the Islamic
eat during Ramadan. He or She will need to include colorful pictures
of the recipe they have chosen. |
 | Students will need to
find and search traditional clothing during Ramadan and dress a doll
in this way. |
 | Your visitor will play
a game that you have set up for them or they can create their own
version of an Islamic game relating to Ramadan. |
