Blessed Sacrament School was established in 1935 in downtown Burlington, North Carolina. For over 85 years in Alamance county, we have educated generations of both Catholic and non-Catholic students. We are dedicated to growing the min d, body and spirit of children, providing a value-centered, holistic atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds in grades PreK (3 years old) through Grade 8. The Catholic education that Blessed Sacrament provides, prepares students for the day when they will bring their gifts of faith and reason to the challenges of our world.
We offer full day programs for Preschool Age 3 through 8th grade, with before and after school care available. Half day and 2 and 3 day programs are also available for Preschool ages 3 and 4.
Our standardized test scores routinely place us in the top 15% of the nation. The school curriculum meets the requirements of both the state of North Carolina and the Diocese of Raleigh. Blessed Sacrament is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
We were the first to have have the only two Lab Learner in-school fully equipped science laboratories in North Carolina. The science curriculum is developed around basic scientific principles and gives students a unique hands on experience. One lab is for Kindergarten through 4th grades and another designed for 5th-8th grades. -
