Kelly Autry (BSS '08, TES '12) to perform Senior Musical Revue

Elon School Senior to Perform Musical Theatre Showcase
Kelly Autry BSS '08) son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Autry of Elon will perform his Senior Musical Theatre Showcase at The Alamance Country Club, April 24, 2012 at 7:00pm. Kelly has auditioned for entrance into musical theatre programs at Carnegie Mellon University, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Baldwin-Wallace, Elon University, Florida State, and Boston Conservatory. Kelly will announce where he will attend college on the evening of his concert.

Kelly has studied ballet with Betsy Walker at Burlington Dance Center, Jazz, modern and tap with Connie Rae at Centre Stage on Main. He has attended the North Carolina School of the Arts summer programs in theatre and vocal music, as well as Cincinnati Conservatory of Music’s summer theatre program. This summer he will attend the North Carolina School of the Arts and study dance. Kelly has appeared in productions presented by The Alamance Children’s Theatre and The Gallery Players.

At The Elon School, Kelly has received highest honors in his academic studies and is a member of the quiz bowl team. He has been a four year member of The Elon School Choral Ensemble and has studied acting and voice with Marshall M. Qualls. Dr. Mark Rumley will accompany Kelly at his concert with Musical Direction by Marshall M. Qualls
