Gracie Schmitt Little Knights & Elementary Spanish gschmitt@bssknights.org Mrs. Schmitt is originally from El Paso, Texas. She has lived in Elon, North Carolina for 19 years. Mrs. Schmitt has been teaching Pre-school to 8th grade at Blessed Sacrament School for 15 years. She has been part of the BSS community for 19 years. Both Mrs. Schmitt’s children, Catherine and George are graduates of Blessed Sacrament School. She attended The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a BS in Child Development and Family Studies. Mrs. Schmitt left BSS for a year and worked at UNC-Greensboro, but her love for this school brought her back. Mrs. Schmitt also works with ESL families. |

Leslie Miranda Little Knights and Kindergarten Spanish lmiranda@bssknights.org Ms. Miranda started working for Blessed Sacrament School in August 2020. She is our Kindergarten Assistant and teaches Spainish to the Little Knights and Kindergarten. She has been a part of the BSS family since 2016 and two out-of her three children attend BSS; Sophia (4th), Romeo (3rd) and Luka (preschool). Before coming to Blessed Sacrament School, Ms. Miranda worked as a Paralegal & Workers Compensation Interpreter for a law firm in Greensboro, NC. She earned her Interpreter's Certificate from Greensboro Technical Community College. Ms. Miranda is happily engaged to Mr. Soto and together they form a beautiful family. When she is not at school, Ms. Miranda enjoys going hiking, going to the mountains, going to the swimming pool on hot summer days, and chasing her little Luka around. The family also has a Pomeranian dog named Simba. |

Jennifer Lee Elementary School Religion Little Knights & Elementary School Art jlee@bssknights.org Mrs. Jennifer Lee is our Art Teacher for all grades in our school, as well as the Religion teacher for 1st, 3rd & 4th grades. She became the BSS Art and Elementary Religion teacher in 2019, but her connections to BSS spans for more than 20 years! Mrs. Lee attended Wingate University and holds an Associate of Arts, Effective Teaching Training and Basic Catechism Training. Mrs. Lee shares with us, "What I love most about BSS is how it feels like home. Coming to work gives me an extended family, and a steady constant in my life! BSS is not just a school, it is a family. When I toured the school with my husband in the year 2000 as a 27 year-old mom, I never imagined this school would give me and my children lifelong friends and a “family”. I look forward to spending many more years here as a Knight" Mrs. Lee and her husband Bobby have 4 children: Jessica, Savannah (AlumnKnight '12), Olivia (AlumnKnight '16) and Ryder (AlumnKnight '19). The three youngest attended Blessed Sacrament School PS thru 8th grade. They all loved being a part of the BSS community and playing sports for the Knights. Mrs. Lee shares, "BSS has shaped them into the great students, athletes, and the caring young adults they are today! Once a Knight.... Always a Knight" The family also has 3 dogs; twin poodles and a hound dog. When she is not at work, Mrs. Lee loves spending time with her family and traveling. The Lee's enjoy spending holidays and summers with their family in Florida, and they love going camping. Mrs. Lee enjoys all things sports and loves to read a good book! |

Kelly Spradlin Middle School Chorus kspradlin@bssknights.org Mrs. Spradlin became a part of the BSS family in 2015, and has 11 years of experience teaching preschoolers. She loves music and dancing and uses both frequently in classroom. Mrs. Spradlin implements play based learning in her lessons as much as possible, and enjoys learning about her students and their families. Mrs. Spradlin is also the Middle School Chorus teacher. She has 20+ years of experience teaching both in the classroom and in her private studio. Her first love is encouraging and developing young musicians. Mrs. Spradlin earned her degree from Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia. Her professional memberships include the North Carolina Music Educators Associatation, the American Choral Directors Association, and the local chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota. Mrs. Spradlin is married has two high school aged sons. She is an avid football fan, and loves the University of Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. Her hobbies include playing the piano, singing with the Creative Arts team at St. Mark's Church and The Alamance Chorale, and trying new recipes. |

Hiroko Solari Middle School Coding My name is Hiroko Solari. I was born in Japan and lived there for the first 25 years of my life. I graduated from Chikushi Jogakuen University, majoring in Japanese language and literature. I also earned an Associate’s degree in accounting at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and now I’m enjoying teaching coding and robotics. |
